What's New At DDSC

 DELdata – DDSC’s New Electronic Account Reporting Service

DDSC has introduced a free electronic account reporting service – DELdata -- for its commercial customers.  Once subscribed to DELdata, depository customers can receive their companies’ daily account transaction confirmations, shipping manifests and detailed inventory reports in digital form via e-mail at the frequency they desire. This innovative reporting capability provides a company’s account information to as many as four designated desktop PCs -- daily, weekly or monthly.  The company chooses the frequency of these reports, and again, this service is free of charge.

 Certified Coin Depository Services

DDSC is the first, and only independent custody company to offer specially tailored, cost-effective certified coin storage and fulfillment services to the rare coin industry. These services are designed to eliminate a dealer’s shipping headaches, streamline his operations, save time and lower his costs.  In providing theses services, DDSC essentially functions as a “clearing house” for the coin industry.  Dealers arrange to have coin inventories delivered into their company account at DDSC.  DDSC confirms their receipt the day they arrive, and the dealer can then instruct DDSC to transfer coins to another internal DDSC account, or to ship them to a customer or trading counterparty via FedEx or registered mail. DDSC provides detailed written confirmations of all account activity to the dealer.

 FedEx DVX Service

To further enhance the security and reliability of the drop shipment fulfillment services it provides to its customers, DDSC now ships all of its customers’ FedEx packages under FedEx’s “DVX” service.

FedEx created the DVX feature specifically for the jewelry industry, incorporating state-of-the-art tracking and processing measures from pickup to delivery, in order to provide greater high value package accountability, and thus additional protection, during the entire delivery process. This feature is now available to all DDSC customers who instruct DDSC to use FedEx to deliver their precious metals packages.

DVX applies to every FedEx Service, including overnight and two-day delivery, as well as FedEx’s most economical three-day Express Saver.
